Polycystsic Ovarian Syndrome

You may think it's normal to miss your period for months on end, and then have a period that lasts for more than a week. You might think that the extra thick hair on your chin, or the hair in your cleavage, around your nipples, and down your happy trail are all 100% normal.
Sometimes it's not.

You may think that your mood swings are normal. But does everyone tell you that you have a really nasty side? Does that nasty side come out more often than you realize?

While you may not have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, you could still very well have imbalanced hormones.

Hi, I'm Ash. Yes, it's short for Ashley, I just don't really agree with that name for myself.
I grew up in the belly of Arizona. In 2004-2005 I spent 10 months living in Northern Nevada, about half an hour away from Lake Tahoe.
In June 2005 I moved to San Francisco, CA and attended The Art Institute of California - San Francisco.
I graduated with an Associate Of Science degree in Interactive Media Design, which I have been using to the best of my advantages working for a brand technology company in Downtown San Francisco since November 2007. I'm going on my 2-year mark with the company as a front end web developer.

I do all of my art on the side, and my photography while traveling mostly. I was very inspired by painting and drawing throughout high school and college. While in high school I taught myself the ways of Photoshop and I was very into photo-manipulation.
Since then, I've been able to use those skills for my photography and digital paintings.

Lately, due to my job, I haven't had much time to devote to my artistic side since my job is very demanding and I tend to work long hours. Some day I will pull out all of the old paints and some canvas, and I'll just go wild again.
